Dream a Little Dream of Me.

Death of the Spirit

The sunset of her life, by CoreyIt has not come, but the day approaches too quickly.

Sad and alone in the gathering dark, mission successfully completed, her vision grew dim in the swirling dust. When she could no longer see the stars that she loved, and from whence she came, she succumbed to the bitter cold and her once magnificent eyes finally closed, never to reopen. Good night sweet Spirit, good night.

From whence came the art:

That image is titled The sunset of her life, by Corey.

Though the idea of using it as the inspiration for a second novel has already crossed my mind Kevin, I have yet to finish the first!

    One thing at a time!

  4. After reading Asimov you get kinda misty about robots dying. If only Ol Lambchops were still with us he could advance his Foundation series.

I heard that someone else had given that a go, and I might have even read it, but if I did, it wasn’t memorable.

I was a little disappointed with the arc involving The Mule, but loved the rest of it.

I really would have liked to see him continue it from a present perspective.
