Discovery To Land

After some rain earlier that caused a delay, NASA has cleared the Space Shuttle Discovery to land in about an hour, bringing to a close STS 116.

    Scattered and overcast a little ways up, turbulence about 800 feet, xenon lights on because touchdown is about sunset, gonna count as a night landing.

  6. Roll to the right 13 degrees in about 2 minutes, 46 degrees back to the left…

    That’s to disperse some of the excess launch energy apparently…
