Can I tell you how freaking scared I am about this?
Of course you can. And I’ll understand.
Hi, JanieBelle. I’m here via a link at Kristine’s place. Your blog is lovely. The heartfelt post of Mandy’s that you link to is praiseworthy. I am a Christian myself, but I don’t feel the least bit threatened by the emerging dynamic that her post represents. Like many of us, Mandy is a Seeker. I admire that. I wanted to tell you that I think you are providing Mandy with a wonderful sounding board and encouraging her growth. I don’t have to share her conclusions to admire her search, and your encouragement. I left a comment on Mandy’s blog to further encourage her, and I wanted to leave a note for you here so that you know that I’m not talking about you behind your back!…:)
Peace….Scott

It is truly unfortunate that the public face of Christianity and other religions is worn by a dangerous minority of lunatics. I would do something about that if I could, but the truth is that the only people who can change the public face of Christianity are Christians like yourself.
I’m glad you’ve stopped by both here and Imago Dei.
