Something Interesting is happening in Kaylaface’s Christmas Village….
She has over a hundred buildings and probably close to a thousand pieces in her village. It’s gotten so big, that she’s run out of room on the platform, and didn’t even have room for the train this year.
So her observatory had to go on a makeshift mountain until the addition to the house is done.
It’s pretty cool that she has an observatory and a light-up moon. Look! Something big is going on at the observatory tonight….
We’re up on the mountain but not quite close enough to read the banner hanging on the observatory. Look below the fold to get a better look at who’s coming by to speak tonight!
Kaylaface knows the best speakers to invite!
(I wonder if Dr. BA knows he has a speaking engagement….)
[UPDATE: Apparently there was a mix up, and Dr. BA won't be able to come.

Wow, I’d better clear my schedule. And drop some weight… not to mention height.
Or get a realllllly good toilet plunger….
My Mum collects miniature buildings, but she’s got some way to go to beat that collection. The observatory is cool. Hmn, that’s next Christmas present solved.
Oh, KaylaFace has the most interesting little things. Not just the houses and a church kinda thing…
There’s the observatory (Majestic Peak Observatory), a library, a book store (Tattered Covers Rare Books), a dress maker’s shop, a tailor’s (Opal’s Custom Tailoring), an ice cream parlor, a candy store, a bank (Farmer’s Bank), Big Ed’s Lakeside Lodge, The Mistletoe Tearoom, a newspaper stand, tree stand, apple cider stand, a school, Mountainview Woodworks (which has a great view of the mountain, by the way!), a grocery store, a tavern (The Squeeky Wheel, and it has a water wheel on the side!), all kinds of things you’d really find in a town.
In the park, there are skateboarders on a half-pipe, a strolling sweetheart couple (one man, one woman, just so y’know) and the lady is carrying a parasol, and a swing set with kids on it.
The park had to go within the walls this year because of the space factor, but those walls usually outline a cemetery.
I guess even Christmas Village People die eventually.
“Christmas Village People”
ikillme
“It’s fun to play at the Y.M.C.A.” hehe
[Edited to add more to the list of stuff in the village]
Go west – with Santa on his sleigh
Go west – with him on Christmas day
Go west – keeping ahead of the sun
Go west – the kids will have lots of fun.
In the gravy, yes you can be as big as fleas,
In the gravy,
Ok, I got nuthin’.
Hey check this out!
Dr. BA has to decline KaylaFace’s invite to Majestic Peak.
KaylaFace is in visiting, so I showed it to her and she’s all excited, but disappointed at the same time.
